Ring...
Hi all, how do you do recently? Today is the 4th day of 2016. How time flies. Yeah, today is the school reopen day for all the primary and secondary students. So does my college. I miss my friends so much because we haven't meet each other for a month long. I nearly forgot my friend's name, oops! Sorry Lynn haha. I think I suffer from Alzheimer's disease because I forget things quite easily recently. Just a description, I'm not ill hehe. I think I should do more math questions to train up my brain.
The beginning of school meaning the ending of holidays. What a cruel fact. The stressful life has back! My lecturer just told us that our A2 trial will be the end of March which is two months plus away. Scary right? After A-level I will be steeping into university life and then working life. Oh no, I like being a kid because kid has no stress, no worries. I know you are going to tell me to face the truth that I'm already 18, no longer a kid hahaha but who cares :p
I don't know what happened to me yesterday. I feel like baking lots of cakes but finally I just managed to make two which is brownie and Oreo truffles. I spent my whole afternoon in the kitchen doing my masterpiece haha. I realised baking does train on my patience as I'm a person with very low patience limit. The process seems easy but if you mistake a single step then outcome would be different. You can't lose your heart doing it because it will never be successful. When the moment you get the cake out of the oven, nothing can replace the aroma and the happiness because you bake it yourself. It's a kind of accomplishment. I enjoy baking cakes because it's when I can relax myself and stop worrying about my homeworks.
This is brownie. It has a crispy layer on top. And I added some chunked chocolate into it to make it has a rich chocolate feeling.
Yeah, this is Oreo truffles. It has a chocolate coat. Inside is the crushed Oreo cookies and cream cheese mixture. It's Oreo ball at first then I dipped it into melted chocolate and freeze it in the fridge to solidify the whole thing. Then I added some coloured rice sprinkles on top to make it looks more attractive. For those of you who doesn't own an oven at home, you can try this out as this is bake free.
You may have seen these pictures if you have seen it on my Instagram. :) That's all for today. I'm off for my dinner. Hope you guys have a wonderful day. Maybe not today but I hope it will be tomorrow. Bye!
Love,
See Qing.
