Class Trip To Penang: Day 2
Hi peeps! How are you doing lately? Hmm.. I started working after class trip has ended. At first I was afraid of going to work due to new environment and new people but after few days of work, I realised all my worries are unnecessary. My colleagues are friendly. Though it's a bit busy but at least my time is not wasted lounging around at home haha. Today I will be blogging about what I did on day 2 in penang. We spent almost half of the day at escape park. Do you get excited when the word 'escape park' come to you? I do. I was longing to go for a try for months ( yeah, I was thinking about it when I was having my A2 exam) hahaha sounds crazy. I often watch people playing bungee jump and all sort of physical challenging games on TV variety shows. They make me want to experience it myself hehe. Yeah, today is the day!
Before we heading to escape park, we went for breakfast at a dimsum restaurant. This is what we ordered. 5 colourful dimsums ( I forgot the name of it hahaha) .The filling for the 5 are all the same just that the appearance looks different. And it is costly. 5 for 8.
Just escape from the reality for few hours. I wish I could escape forever,
These are monkey bars if I'm not mistaken. They look thrilling but tiring. Majority of it requires us to use our arm strength to get across. The height of it is different from you look from below and above.
I guess it's Pei Jun who is above hanging between the ropes. This one is really tiring. You think you have stepped on the rope? Hahaha actually you don't, it's just hallucination. You will eventually drop a little bit as the rope straighten when you step on it and that gave my heart pounds against my chest for a few seconds though I know I was secure by the safety belt. By the way, she was playing on level two. Difficulty is going up level by level. The one I played was level one hahaha which means this one is more tougher than the one I played. Well done, Pei Jun! *claps*
Yes, here she is. 'HI!' Is there anything funny that makes you smile broadly with you bare teeth, Xin Jie? hahahhaha :p
They are playing some game to win a prize.
Wow, finally I can experience the feeling of jumping off from a height. This is the one I was longing for since long time ago. Finally dream comes true! I jumped from 20m above the ground. It looks quite low from below but trust me, you will no longer say that when you are up there hahaha. That was one moment I wish I could change my mind and go for 13m instead but at the end I still went up haha. After all it was thrilling but without the safety belt is not thrilling at all. Please do not try this at home. Appreciate your precious live. It was a great experience and my personal opinion it is better than flying fox. Flying fox is a torture :'( Of all the games in escape park, I would say flying fox is the most terrifying. Yes, no doubt that the view you catch when you are flying from one end to the other is magnificient and the feeling of wind rushing over the face is enjoying but the speed when you flying through is the most terrifying part for me. I think I will not try for the second time hahaha. After escape park, we headed to the nearest beach at Batu Ferringi. It's a clean and beautiful beach. Always remember: be a responsible tourist and always keep the spot clean. Our mother earth needs each and everyone of us to protect it. :) On the way to escape park, you can see endless ocean spreading beside you. Wondering what is happening at the other end of the sea hahaha.
They call this 'poster'. Hahahaha can you spot the high-pitched three? Beautiful day with good people and weather. :)
What a nice timing for me to shoot this photo. Reflection of sunlight gave the effect that stars are shining on the sea. When I saw the boat, the scene of DOTS suddenly appeared in my mind hahaha. If you watch it, you will know what I mean. *wink wink*
I like listening to the sounds of nature. The gushing waves sound so relaxing.
After sunset, here comes the truth or dare section. Not really truth or dare cause we only played the dare part on that night. We played the atypical version of truth of dare hahaha. We used the pirate barrel to decide who gets the punishment. Oh no, it wasn't a night for Siew Yin and I. The pirate keep popping up when it came to our turn. This round it's me then next round would be Siew Yin. Ohhh, we were sick of it after so many rounds hahaha. But it was a fun night with those crazy dares hahahaha. Those memories will remain in my mind forever. *a burst of laughter*
At Karpal Singh's Drive. It stands out at night with those glowing blue lights.
Night view of penang bridge. Colourful reflection of lights on the sea.
This sums up the day. We all had a good sleep on that night cause we were all tired after those extreme activities. (Sleep soundly like a pig hahahha) Stay tuned for day 3! Just a little sneak peek, we visited upside down museum hehe. Hope you have fun reading!
Love,
See Qing.
