Post A2

After 14 months, I've finally completed my A-level. When I made the decision to take up A-level, I told myself that it would be easier than SPM as I only take 4 subjects compared to 10 subjects in SPM. I have been wrong since the beginning. A-level isn't easy especially A2. You are only given half a year to prepare for your A2 after AS has finished. I have broke my own record during this 14 months time. I have never sitting in front of my study table for the whole day. Never. A-level has made me to a whole new level. Those days are really stressful but sun shines again after all the hard times have over! Now, A2 has over. I don't feel happy for that. Am I the only one? Lots of question keep bubbling up in my brain. What should I do next? Don't ask me. I don't know. I wish I knew what I want. I'm kinda lost after all my papers have over. Before exam, I sincerely wish that time would fly as fast as possible as I'm tired of that kind of sleepless nights. But ...

NUMed Interview

Yo! How are you doing recently? Hope you doing fine. I'm back to update you what has happened to my life recently.  I have applied to Newcastle Malaysia a week ago and I got an interview invitation three days after I have sent the application form. My interview appointment is set on 17/3 (Today). I went from KL all the way down to Johor. It took me 4 hours to reach my destination. Newcastle is one of the universities located in the Edu City in Johor. Inside the Edu City, there are many more universities nearby such as University of Reading, University of Southampton and MMU. It's a beautiful place. You can see trees everywhere. When you sit in the cafeteria, you can feel the tranquil environment. From what I have observed, there are not many students cause I rarely see people walking around the campus. It's a good place for studying as it provides a quiet atmosphere. There are various facilities such as demonstration theatre, seminar rooms, student recreation room, IT rooms...

19

Image
And here I turned 19. I seriously don't know what have I done in my 18-year-old besides becoming a nerd. The 18-year-old I have been longing since I was young has just past. You know as a kid, we tend to act like a grownup sometimes and wanted to be one as soon as possible. We might think that being a grownup has so much fun ( I'm the one but I don't know how you think) but as soon as I'm a grownup now, I'm feeling those good old times was so much fun, simpler and happier. Just as how I think college life would be much more easier than high school but I'm totally wrong! I have a really different birthday celebration this year. My college mates have planned something for me but I didn't realise that. I know I'm too dumb for this. Please forgive my dumbness, my friends. As I don't socialise much ( I'm often being called antisocial and there's a reason behind it) so I only have one or two close friend last time. I usually celebrate my birthd...

Hunt for Hope

Image
Hunt for hope, an annual charity treasure hunt held by my college. It's a game which you have to go around KL to search for clues. Me and my partner, Lynn was in batch 2. Our journey started from college> Nu Sentral> KL city gallery> KLCC then the last station Berjaya Times Square. We walked most of time. We have spent the longest time in KL city gallery till we left one hour for the last two stations. Though we couldn't win the game but the process of completing tasks together was the most memorable one. This was my first time participating in such an activity. All I can say is it's a fun yet adventurous game. KL is an historical and tranquil city. You can see old buildings everywhere. Those landmarks have been there for decades. They are beautiful to capture but we don't have time for that as I mentioned before in the sentence that we are rushing for our last two stations. Sad case. But I managed to take some photos in the KL city gallery, our third station i...

It's Amelia's Birthday!!

Image
Yesterday was our beloved Amelia's big day. We celebrated her birthday at The Gardens. Almost half of class attended her birthday celebration including one of her close friend. One day before her birthday, Joyce, Xin Jie and I bake a cake for her. It's a green tea tiramisu. Many incidents happened during the baking process. First, we forgot about the cream of tartar. The function of tartar cream is to raise the cake to make it more fluffy. We skipped that ingredient since it only required in small amount. Till the cake was nearly finish baked, it looks pretty good. It expanded to a size we wanted.  We were happy with it because we don't know what the cake will look like since we are out of one of the ingredients. After we took it out from the oven, it shrank within minutes and turned out to a funny looking cake. Next, the cheese filling flowed out of the mould and nearly cause a flood in the freezer. Hence, we took the whole cake out and line the mould with two layers o...

Hi all, how do you do recently? Today is the 4th day of 2016. How time flies. Yeah, today is the school reopen day for all the primary and secondary students. So does my college. I miss my friends so much because we haven't meet each other for a month long. I nearly forgot my friend's name, oops! Sorry Lynn haha.  I think I suffer from  Alzheimer's disease because I forget things quite easily recently. Just a description, I'm not ill hehe. I think I should do more math questions to train up my brain.  The beginning of school meaning the ending of holidays. What a cruel fact. The stressful life has back! My lecturer just told us that our A2 trial will be the end of March which is two months plus away. Scary right? After A-level I will be steeping into university life and then working life. Oh no, I like being a kid because kid has no stress, no worries. I know you are going to tell me to face the truth that I'm already 18, no longer a kid hahaha but who cares :p...

2015.

Image
Hi everybody! Soon we will be welcoming 2016. How has your year 2015 been? It's unbelievable that 2016 is just few days away. Everything happened  in this year as though it was just happened yesterday. Still clear and fresh in the memory. We have been through so much this year. Some ups and downs. No matter what, I hope that we can learn from the past and make improvements. Don't give up and you will see hopes. Trust me :) 2015 has not been a dull year for me as I experienced many that I haven't been through before. I have learnt a lot and I am still learning till today. I'm grateful that I have achieved the goals I have set for myself in 2014. Yeah! It's time to make a new one. 2016 will be a challenging year (honestly everyday is challenging, not only 2016 haha) for me as I'm going to enter my university life and that's a totally different environment. I have to start making my own decision that will affect a lifetime. Ish, I hate making such decision...
